Whenever I get the CS line of "well maybe this release just isn't going to work for you..." it's very hard to not respond with "My system costs $35,000. It's not me, it's you." I've so far resisted... but it's hard...

EDIT: In hindsight I might have SLIGHTLY exaggerated that number... but you get the idea...

Apparently the Etta was pressed at Rainbo according to the VMP site. Don't know how it sounds but they used to be the worst plant before they shut down.

I might have a copy of Nucleus lying around if you'd rather trade something than buy it! I think I have one with a seam split lying around somewhere...

I actually have both of those and I think the Etta sounds freaking GREAT surprisingly. Think my label was off center if I remember correctly but I was pretty blown away by how great it sounded!

As for the Nucleus offer, if I didn’t already own it I would take you up on that 🔥. Appreciate it! Bill Evans arrived by the way and was a fun spin last night, thanks for the solid trade experience ❤️

good to know! i remember hearing the prestige exclusives all sounded solid but then the Rainbo pressing info made me second-guess myself. I had grabbed the Yusef Lateef and Sonny Rollins but missed out on the others. Sonny and Yusef are great too.
