Yeah, it's radio edits and remixes. Completely pointless.Oh, it's expanded....didn't realize.
Those extra discs are pointless though IMO.
If you have the standard edition then there's virtually no reason to get it unless you're suffering from a serious case of FOMO. Like, put a bunch of early biggie freestyles or some unreleased tracks on there and maybe I'd be interested in an upgrade. I'm not one to listen to 2-3 versions of the same track.Yeah, it's radio edits and remixes. Completely pointless.
Death Cab used to be one of my favorite bands but they really lost me after Narrow Stairs. New single is so meh. Maybe Death Cab died when Chris Walla left the band.![]()

Death Cab for Cutie's 10th studio album is here on Opaque Pink and Grey Splatter vinyl.www.vinylmeplease.com
I'm still looking to snag a decently priced version of Plans in Canada. If that was a VMP store release I probably would've jumped on it.Death Cab used to be one of my favorite bands but they really lost me after Narrow Stairs. New single is so meh. I agree. I'm still curious to hear this one, but Narrow Stairs was the creative peak for sure.Death Cab used to be one of my favorite bands but they really lost me after Narrow Stairs. New single is so meh. Maybe Death Cab died when Chris Walla left the band.
Yup, I think he added a lot to the group.Death Cab died when Chris Walla left
Method Man I can see being repressed. I don't see De La ever getting repressed now that Tommy Boy no longer owns the rights. De La is going to want to directly profit after all these years. I am surprised their stuff hasn't hit streaming though.SOLIDLY BORING! HIYOOOOO!
Thankfully I did not get hyped up for their teased repress. I guess De La, Method Man or something would be too much to ask.
They haven't repressed Tical for well over a year since I joined. I feel like they lost the rights.Method Man I can see being repressed. Yeah, I'm not sure how their licensing deals work. Something like care for me and a few others have definitely come back after longer windows so who actually knows. I've stopped trying to figure out VMP.They haven't repressed Tical for well over a year since I joined. I feel like they lost the rights.
My only hope is that we're coming on some anniversaries for the older Wu albums. Still looking for Tical, Liquid Swords (I have an order but no hope it'll actually ship), and 6 Feet Deep.Yeah, I'm not sure how their licensing deals work. Liquid Swords and Supreme Clientele are the two Wu-adjacent albums I want nice versions of and I have no hope we will see themMy only hope is that we're coming on some anniversaries for the older Wu albums. From all I've heard and seen the Supreme Clientele ship has sailed and sunk never to be reclaimed. That one will just be a matter of you swallowing spending a crap load for one of the existing pressings. I don't think there is anything holding back a Liquid Swords repressing at some point.Liquid Swords and Supreme Clientele are the two Wu-adjacent albums I want nice versions of and I have no hope we will see them
I loved that liquid swords glass colored vinyl but the superhero cover was not to my tasteLiquid Swords and Supreme Clientele are the two Wu-adjacent albums I want nice versions of and I have no hope we will see them
Yeah, I was willing to get the Marvel cover if that was all that was left, but it's gone. I ordered off some place called moviemars or some shit on Amazon and the ship date was like a month and a half out so I think it's all hopes and dreams that it was going to get repressed before the promised ship date.I loved that liquid swords glass colored vinyl but the superhero cover was not to my taste
I hope to eventually Frankenstein a copy of my marvel cover version with a copy with the original album art. The Marvel cover even has a lenticular square of album art. So I will keep that, the vinyl, and the comic book but swap out the OG jacket, then PIF the other leftovers.I loved that liquid swords glass colored vinyl but the superhero cover was not to my taste
Yes, it's OOP for now and of course super expensive second hand.Liquid Swords....eh? Is a standard pressing OOP these days? I have the 2015 20th Ann pressing and that Marvel cover.
I also have this...https://www.discogs.com/release/4494496-Genius-GZA-Liquid-Swords-The-Chess-Box...which I'm thinking about taking off the shelf.
Would that be of interest to anyone?
Yes, I've seen that singles collection. In general, I dislike the singles collections. I used to have 36 chambers as a novelty like that but I long ago unloaded it.Yes, it's OOP for now and of course super expensive second hand.
The singles collection chess box you can still find, but I'd rather the entire album than the singles collection. I did have it on order but I ended up cancelling.
