You know what occurred to me, and might have already been something you thought of? I'd ask WHY the other members like
@Enoch who got replacements were requesting them. If it's for different reasons than the reason you were asking, then my guess would be that they are fully aware of the defect, so they can't really send you a replacement, because there's a good chance that you're going to have the exact same problem again. If that's the case, they're going to have to make a wide acknowledgment of another widespread issue. If the request was for more of an anomaly, which the defect clearly isn't, but should have been, then they don't have to address that problem on a mass level and can just try and send them a new copy.
