I think you can join with any past rotm, you just hit the start with this record and/or you should be able to swap on the 28th.

Not sure that's correct... I 'think' you have to join in the swap window to be able to truly 'swap' your first record, otherwise you're essentially joining for the previous month for which the swap window is now closed... but you should still be able to pick what that first record is... but it's a little more restrictive in that you can't swap it for credit or store titles, just previous RoTMs...

i believe this is correct. if you do "join with this record" you will not be able to swap when its not in the swap window. i think once swaps open on the 28th (?) you can join and swap. what were you looking to start with?
and of course, don't forget to use a referral link for 3+ months, or the code JOINTHECLUB20 which i believe still works and should be 20% off?

Well someone just used my referral code so I’ll bite on two records for $20 and I’ll be less bummed out if there is something I’ll want to swap for since I actually want CCR.

Out of curiosity, I tried your referral link AND that discount code, and they both worked for an annual subscription for 387 after taxes, which isn't too bad. I don't see me joining anytime soon though.

Also I had reason to ask for my credit to be added to a coup,e of orders (during the 30% discount sale). They succeeded in doubling the discount by taking credit and adding credit somehow …. So many instances of them messing up at a cost to themselves, how much money do they throw away each year !
