I know they have been sending zines out to members still in the record boxes even if you swapped for credit. Wouldn’t be shocked if it slipped out. I’d bet they just have too many printed and are sending them out to customers.

That happened to me with Bandbox. Also I've gotten random people from other states mail that got stuck in a vinyl mailer. It's happened three times. Which isn't a lot, but it's weird it's happened three times

Once I got a package from USPS that was just the shipping label cut out of a bandbox box in a envelope with a note saying my package was lost hah. The record must have fallen out (or was stolen out of the box). Never got it but Pam took care of me

Does Saddle Creek have other customers in the music industry like VMP or do they generally work with clients in other industries? For example, if they work with a car parts company, do they have these same sorts of issues?
Magnolia, for example, doesn't seem to have these sorts of shipping issues. Who do they use?

I think they do everything. They do warehousing and fulfillment for various industries on quick glance. I was making a joke though because VMP blames them for any issues they ever have.

To your point, would love to know the inside scoop- is this a VMP system issue driving weird outcomes or is it the shipping vendor that sends 15 copies of Aretha to one person or an empty box to another?
