For those who can't reddit: A few records were delayed getting to the warehouse, so monthly shipments that were supposed to contain those records are being held back. Records include MadGibbs (both?), Clairo, the country bundle, and Celia y Johnny. Those records should be at the warehouse soon, and Monday should be the latest that packages will ship out. Official communication about the issue is coming soon

I wasn’t exactly sure where to post this, and someone can guide me in the right direction if not. How much warping do you accept on a record these days? It seems like pretty much every record I have received lately, whether it’s from my local record shop or amazon, have some warping to them. I usually keep them if my stylus isn’t too bouncy. What are everyone’s thoughts?

Depends if it affects sound but VMPs policy is if a nickel fits under it's too warped.

Thanks for sharing this, but it should take someone checking reddit every now and again for us to be told stuff like this. They have our emails after all.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure I checked on Tuesday using the cart trick and there more than 30 left, and now it's gone? In my experience, most titles doesn't usually move that fast after they've been in the store awhile.

I just received my shipping notice, but The Hustler did not ship along with the rest of my records. Oddly enough, Fania All Stars is listed among the items in the package, so I don't see why good ol' Willie wouldn't be shipped. Did anyone else order this record? Is it included in your shipment (assuming your package was shipped already)?

Mine hasn't shipped yet, but I noticed on my order page that The Hustler says "early November" now. The Coltrane Blue World as well.

Yeah I was surprised by that too, i'm not even sure I noticed when it was low stock.

Hey there, We are reaching out to inform you of a delay with the October Classics record, Celia & Johnny. After an initial short delay in receiving the stock, and while packing these records, we discovered the entire run had been damaged due to a cutting error. The outer edges of each record were cut incorrectly and were sharp and jagged as a result (see the picture below).

While this issue does not affect playback, we believe it’s something that affects the quality of the records and we are committed to fixing it. We are working with the plant to expedite a repress of this inventory and anticipate having everything ready to ship during the week of October 21st. This includes your October Classics record, as well as any other titles ordered to be shipped in October. However, if you ordered either Halloween titles (John Carpenter's Halloween Expanded Edition and/or Vince Guaraldi’s It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown), we will go ahead and get your shipment sent out, and will send Celia & Johnny separately once we receive them. So not to bitch, as there is a resolution..

I ordered the Flaming lips ROTM and both exclusives and when i opened my box 'At War with the Mystics' was not there. I emailed and they said they are in the warehouse and are going to replace.

Has anyone gotten their At War with the Mystics album?
