Worth getting the message to a company not to do this. The David Bowie Deram debut reissue had a stupid big sticker on the front. I spent more to get a copy without one. Not only does it deface one album, the residue when removed can damage the album it is beside.

It's ok. Yeah, all replacements of Stars came with just the record, no sleeve.

I actually just complimented the packaging on the Aquamarine version in the Secretly Society thread and was wondering of other copies are the same. It sounds like this is the case. Wonderful packaging.

I'd take one to replace my bum copy as they didn't send me a good replacement. I'd pay ya shipping and whatever else you require.

do either one of you care about getting the slightly crackly ending?
 
Listening to my Joel Ross now and yeah, it seems to crackle and pop throughout. I also noticed random little blue "flakes" in the off-white vinyl as well, although that might just be a cosmetic thing.

I'll try cleaning the records to see if it helps. The pops aren't surprising but still a bit disappointing. The music itself is fantastic, at least.

Worst thing I've ever gotten from VMP when you take into account the price, combined with how crap the packaging is, and how totally crap the pressing is. I tried two, then got a refund. It's garbage.
