Listening to the first side on headphones now. Not getting any static. A little light surface noise occasionally but not out of the ordinary. You should ask for a replacement as long as you've already tried cleaning.
Never noticed before that there's what sounds like a projector or something running for the first song.

My order (MadGibbs bundle, Yusef, Joel Ross) was shipped yesterday. I don't think I've ever had an order ship Saturday, so they might've come in to work the weekend to get these out ASAP.

Got my replacement Dawes in and Disc 1 is still warped to hell. I think it's the right jacket and the 7" jammed in there... Anyone has gotten a good copy?

I also got a replacement Dawes, and it was even more warped than the first one. After reading on discogs, it sounds like this is an issue with this entire pressing (i.e. not just the VMP version), so I just took a refund in store credit after the second bad one.

I was late reporting mine so they ran out and I told them credit was fine, but I had seen on Reddit that people who bought non-VMP copies were having the same problem so I kinda suspected that a replacement would have been just as bad.
My copy at least plays without skipping as far as I can tell so it might not have been as bad as some others I saw.

No, i got two copies as well, both warped. First set was just disc 1 and mainly track 1, second set was same on first and 2nd was warped also.
They exchanged for me.

I got two copies as well and both were warped. The first disc was the worst, but the second was warped as well. I thought the sleeves seemed really tight. Its a shame, the packaging was very nice.

So got confirmation that the sticker is in the wrong place, but they do not have another copy in the office to check to see if this is a single issue or widespread. Was given a full refund in store credit (which turned out to be a little more since this was a swap). Might be worth looking into if you received this album to see if the sticker is on the outside or inside or both, ha. Here is hoping it is easily removeable...

I have yet to purchase one but I guess a heat gun is pretty great tool for getting stickers off things. I think they are fairly cheap. Might be worth your while if you plan on attempting to remove it.

Mine is the same, sticker right on the jacket. Had some skips on side 2 too, so I got store credit as well. Shame as it's a great comp.
