Vinyl Me Please (store, exclusives, swaps, etc)

Having done some work on a Shopify site, search can be a bear. It usually only pulls from product titles, categories and tags and not product descriptions, so if anything is entered a little screwy, it won't necessarily show up. Nothing a day or two of back-end clean-up on every product can't fix though.
You give VMP faaaaar too much credit on fixing anything "back-end".

I didn't present it as fact, though. My original tl;dr was just a recap of his post. Also I didn't present it as a fact based on him being a DJ, since I never said he was a DJ. I called him a dj dude cause his username started with dj lmao.

Just realizing that my username here could make it look like I'm a DJ. They're my initials and I am far from a DJ, lol.

Can't speak for the Reddit person though.

Hopefully they can make that happen.

I’m a one-time club DJ (very small, short time), college radio DJ (on hiatus), and even DJed a couple weddings and fashion shows.

I assumed you were a DJ at the old forum for the longest time. I kept looking for an Ohio DJ call "xfactor".
What you mean you’re not a DJ? Mind blown 🤯

Also what does the x stand for, that’s intriguing!

The truth comes out!!

DJ X-Factor
My initials + X-Factor is like an extreme fan of Xavier University basketball. At least that's what they used to call them when I was there. 511 was my dorm room number. Older versions of this nickname have older dorm room numbers.

EDIT: I wish it was more exciting than that. 🤣

Were you around for "Throwback Thursdays"? There were times when the title would drop in the store before the Twitter feed would even update or vice versa.
Sure was. Only ever snagged one TBT (Sad Songs for Dirty Lovers). Shopify has tools to give VMP much more control over product publishing and availability so those types of issues don't pop up. Doesn't mean it won't fix a broken tweet link or boinked social schedule (or haphazard website management), but ideally they should be way better equipped for the future.

Not saying they'll stick the landing right away (or even in a few months), but it's a more positive move overall.

Gun to my head, I would not be able to remember my dorm room number...
