"Small business".
Doesn't feel small if these are the stats: Kickfurther
Hold on, what is this? How does it work?

Not sure. It's not my department.
So I just looked it up.
It's a 'new' form of crowdfunding and investing. Rather than investing in the company, Kickfurther allows people to fund their purchase for inventory, so in this case vinyl. So then the Kickfurther group of people that paid, purchase the stock, give it to VMP, then it's VMP's job to sell it at a premium for themembers of the Kickfurther to obtain aprofit on their investment.
Now... II think this only applies to the exclusives added on. But I find it interesting that they are doing this. Curious when they kick started this and if it has anything to do with the forum being shut down.
This might actually have to do with the Anthology box setsLooks like they've only used it 2x. The first one was in Sept and was paid out in Nov.
I think the optics for investors has a ton to do with the shut down. They can't have the investors knowing about their weekly eff ups.
weeehhheellll... we are on the first page for "vinyl me please fuck up," and that's even with your evil V-word substitution.Looks like they've only used it 2x. The first one was in Sept and was paid out in Nov.

we're on our way to the top! couldn't have done it without such a great team.
I had a skip on this song too. I played it again and it was gone. I decided to spin the whole record, see if there are any other issues, then will revisit. So far, only on "Eye For An Eye"Share, Embed & Upload Audio with Clyp
Clyp is the easiest way to record, upload and share audio.clyp.it
It only got worse as the song went on...
It skipped once on an earlier song but when I reversed and tried going thru it again it didn't skip on the second time, so I assumed it was cool now.
Afraid to listen to the other sides now
That’s pretty bad, even for VMP.Yes. No shipping notification on my November package. At least I got Mobb Deep delivered as that was the only reason I signed up for the month anyway.
I had one skip on this track. Replayed it tonight and there were no skips. Not sure. Maybe some hunk that broke free...I had a skip on this song too. I played it again and it was gone. I will play it a few times to make sure. Overall, it sounds really good.I had one skip on this track. Replayed it tonight and there were no skips. Not sure. Maybe some hunk that broke free...
I will keep playing mine to see. Since the first spin, I have not had a skip. How many times have you put your needle through it?I wet cleaned my copy and it's still skipping as much as it was when I recorded it.
I wonder if I can haggle them into giving me an Earl Sweatshirt test pressing if they don't have any replacements left
This is perfect timing because they posted the email to the people who got multiple Mobb Deep's where they call themselves "a small business" to convince those persons to return the LPsSorry. After I saw the Forbes post I just had to post this from an interview I remembered. Another company getting “bigger” to serve us “better” as the saying goes.
From interview with VMP founders.
“... Vinyl Me, Please has always been about the music, the people who love it and it will always be abot both of those things no matter how big we get. That’s a promise we’re excited to deliver on for years to come.”
Are people still receiving shipping notices for Mobb Deep? I'm still in Unfulfilled Land.
Me too
Are you sure you don’t want to keep them all? You would be like the driest, coolest hiker ever!I ordered 5 anorak jackets and received 25 VMP wants them back, but I'm selling them for $90 each! DM me!! The perfect gift for your vinyl loving special someone. These won't last..
This is definitely my favourite Needles&Grooves post of the year! It’s absolutely spot on! It’s actually everything!"Alright crack VMP Inspection Team form up, form up, on me... Okay look guys, here's the deal... last month there was a teensy weensy little boo boo involving some of these here records. We MAY.. AND I STRESS... MAY... NO ONE HAS PROVEN ANYTHING, we MAY have sent all 1000 copies to like 17 people. APPARENTLY that's not what was on the docket... We've identified where the issue MAY have arisen, so Larry, Stewie, Jeanie, Bobby, Norbert, Phil, Tom, Peter, Jose, Bill, Cindy, Cathy, Macy, Casey, Nancy and Drew you guys get five minutes less for lunch today... JUST IN CASE IT'S OUR FAULT BUT NO ONE HAS PROVEN ANYTHING. Pam, you were off that day so you get your regular lunch.
Okay so crack VMP Inspection Team! I've sent out several emails regarding the inspections that we're going to be undertaking for the returns of these records. Before we send them back out to other subscribers there is an extensive checklist that you MUST follow before you are to approve any incoming packages for re-shipping. I will now go though the comprehensive list point by point, if anyone needs to go to the bathroom I suggest you do it now...
Okay, Point one: Find wherever the incoming shipment has been put. People I can't stress this enough, you must find the package first. We aren't used to this so these could be anywhere folks, under desks, behind curtains, accidental doorstop, on top of toilet, next to toilet, behind toilet, in toilet... keep your eyes open people.
Point Too: Open box, does it contain records. If the answer is yes continue to Point 3. If not put box back where you found it and keep looking.
Point 3: Do the records say Mobb Deep on them? If the answer is yes continue to Point For, if not follow the second part of the instructions from the previous point.
Point For: Congratulations you have found some Mobb Deep records! Remove them from box and ship indiscriminantly to anyone on the order list you see fit, have some fun with this people, it's the holidays...
And that's it!
Go VMPeam!
I just came up with that.
It's like TEAM but it's our name!
Damn that's good.
Gary let's get a trademark on that, actually let's get half of you working on the "VMPeam" trademark, the rest of you can deal with these Mobb Def records."
