Vinyl Me Please (store, exclusives, swaps, etc)

FWIW, they used the same stampers as the original pressing for Idler Wheel. It'll sounds the same as the 2012 pressing.

Only difference is instead of it being pressed at the god awful URP (like the original), it was pressed at the marginally better Gz

Is this all a good thing? I've never owned/heard the 2012 pressing. Was that good?

Reviews are mixed. It did get a vinyl dedicated mastering separate from the CD/digital (which is the mastering used in the VMP release), which is a good thing. Most negative reviews on it are about surface noise - because URP sucks almost as much as Rainbo did. The positive reviews are generally just about loving Fiona's music.

It was a limited release that has high resale prices, so critical and in-depth reviews of sound quality are hard to come by.

Channel Tres is in the process of pressing more of the exact same variant of his VMP release that sold out relatively fast.

Hopefully Woozy does the same or even a different color variant. The demand is clearly there for it, so hopefully he comes through because VMP surely did not.
Woozy is pretty popular. 68,000,000 streams on Spotify of his most popular song vs Channel Tres’ 4,400,000. And 3x the monthly listeners. Woozy will get something pressed; I’d bank on it.

I got one of these a while ago. When are they shipping? Anyone know?
I got an email from them on October 4th basically saying the test pressings they got back from their manufacturer were not good so they had to start over, and the target ship dates were now Late November/Early December.

I'll email him back and see if they have any progress update.
