Vinyl Me Please (store, exclusives, swaps, etc)

It's weird I have nothing fulfilled that I didn't already get and have a pre-shipment tracking from them.
I have a shipping number on the VMP website for Aretha, the other two ROTMs say fulfilled but no number. And if you click on the number it sends me to my membership page. And the number didn't show up in DHL, and no email regarding it. So I'd say everything is just kinda out of order at this point. You COULD be getting some of the other things you ordered. Or you COULD be getting 147 Jaye Bartell albums.

I'm sorry, the 147 Jaye Bartell records you've ordered were accidentally sent to an old address. To make up for it we've gone ahead and sent you 147 copies of Greta Van Fleet.

Same. My copy of Modern Guilt by Beck from a few years ago. Luckily they replaced it for free.
I got a record from Amazon in a plastic bag once and it was scratched and bent so I requested another one and they sent the replacement in a bag and that one was scratched and bent so I requested a replacement and talked with customer service asking to send in a box and they sent a replacement in a bag and it was scratched and bent and so I asked again and that replacement was finally sent in a box. I had to send all the damaged ones back. When I talked with customer service again and recommended that they default to sending records in boxes in the future, they said they were trying to cut back on their carbon footprint. That’s really admirable, but unfortunately there are now at least three brand new scratched and bent records sitting in a landfill somewhere.

Another day in the books, and another day my six records languish in VMP's "30% left to ship" pile.

I'm with you 100% in the 30% (or was it 40%) unfulfilled on 100% of my November/December orders. 110% running out of patience, although I did get an email back from Paul saying sorry, don't know when anything will ship, but really sorry. (Paul's a good guy, but has 0% of the answers right now).

Yeah. I had another time where they sent me Kanye's MBDTF with no box and it came beat up with all the plastic torn. When they sent the second copy it also came with no box but was perfectly fine. Amazon is weird sometimes.

In my experience, if you receive a replacement and it's also fucked and you chat with CS they will just tell you to keep it and refund you. I've gotten 3 records that way that had completely fucked outer sleeves but the records themselves were totally fine.

So that initial "we're 70% done" email went out 2 days ago now? Is that right? And, I mean, not that we hold them in real high regard for logistics and accuracy, but how hard would it have been to update that to show SOME amount of progress for the batch of us that received it today. JFC. Take two seconds to call down to the warehouse and see what's up. Or, maybe they did: "Hey, Brad. We said 70% on Tuesday. Yeah. Yeah. YES BRAD I KNOW THAT WAS A LIE, but what do you think? 80% now? 30%! FUCK! No, I'll just say 70% again. I know, but they don't know the fucking difference. Fuck 'em, AM I RIGHT, BRAD?! hahahah Oh, by the way, you're working an 18 hour shift on Christmas day. Yep. OKAY BYEEEEEE!"

I got my email today. Apparently they're 70% done sending emails about being behind shipping records

So I looked at my account page and in the membership tab, it says "scheduled cancellation" for the Aretha Franklin. However, under the orders tab, it still says "unfulfilled" for the Aretha, along with all my orders from November and the B.B. King Classics.

Normally, I'd ask VMP CS directly, but we aren't supposed to email them.

So does anyone know if this means that VMP is cancelling my Aretha (not a request I made!), or if it's a cancellation of the Essentials track which I did not renew. It looks like this below.

Is your membership set to renew or did you cancel it (starting next month or whenever, which is likely what "scheduled" is referring to)

Got you, this is probably what it is. I have a 3 month membership for my primary and the essentials is a monthly add on which I pick and choose from on a case by case basis just to get the title of that month if I'm interested in it. I chose it to get the Aretha which I was charged for. Previously when I cancelled before the next month, I never saw that scheduled cancellation logo before.

I’m not a big wrestling fan, but this comment reminds me of this:

That's what it says when you cancel an add on track. Mine also said that. you should still get Aretha (eventually, maybe).
