Aside from them not knowing what day it is, it's interesting that for the first time they referred to it as "open orders" rather than December orders. Hopefully that means all our November and earlier shit is consistently going out as well.

I feel really really horrible for all of the people who had to cancel holiday plans so that they could work on fixing voldemort's mistakes. Hopefully the voldemort C suite canceled their holiday plans in solidarity and was right there with them, sleeves rolled up, fixing this monster of fubar of a mistake.
 
I received my bigger box in the early AM this morning and havent closely inspected for damages yet but it seems 8 of my 9 remaining are in there.

So as long as this is flawless, I received everything minus my restocked Al Green and had a couple very slight corner bends on TLC. Happy to be done with this until January, which is going to be my smallest box from them in well over a year.

Plenty of people love and would jump at the opportunity to get time and a half especially around the holidays. I know I would gladly pack records for some extra holiday cash. Hell I’d do it for a few free records.

True, my job before this was managing a unit in psychiatric unit in a hospital and I jumped on every holiday shift I could to get that extra money. That was pre-marriage and in-law commitments but I'm sure there are younger people in warehouse jobs more than happy to earn the extra cash.

Especially at VMP if anything you know they’re at least listening to good music while they pack the records. Honestly that’s like a dream job for extra cash for presents.

Yep, very true (although not for free records here in Teeeee world). I hope it was presented as an opportunity for those that didn't already have plans they couldn't/didn't want to cancel. And not, "you must do this or lose your job".

You think the warehouse in North Carolina that is a contractor for voldemort is in any way similar to working in the offices in Colorado? I don't at all. But I appreciate your positive viewpoint! It's snapping me out of my funk.

Even if it's not, I would think they would let them listen to music. I also worked at UPS when I was younger (Ive had alot of different jobs) and the only good part was being able to listen to music through the long holiday shifts.

Same here, though should be just Aretha. But still no email about it and a weird tracking number that doesn't look like a tracking number.
