Didn't someone here just post about how cc'ing Matt got them a replacement QOTSA? @Mather maybe?
And yep I CC'd Matt. But it's Pauly who's responding to these.
I’ve received this same email 2-3 times every day for the past three weeksVMP Generic Response #2 Same Day, 1/8/2020
"As you've probably guessed by now, we've been completely slammed with requests like yours and we're answering each one in the order we got them. The issue you emailed us about, and your growing frustration, both matter more than anything else to us right now and we aren't going to rest until they've both been solved.
Just like you, we hope the next email you get from us is one saying everything is fixed and your records are on a truck that's speeding towards your home. In the meantime, please hang in there and send us good vibes. We're sending the same back to you

If only there was a way to manually stockcheck their inventory and update their system with the correct numbers..."I think we have a few replacements". "we might have oversold it"
Why are they not able to open their system, pull up QOTSA and see that there are x copies left? Why don't they know???? With each move they make, they're digging themselves deeper.
Remember when their switch to the new system caused delays because they “had to count everything by hand.” I believe I am correctly recalling that quote, right?!?! What happened to that?!If only there was a way to manually stockcheck their inventory and update their system with the correct numbers...

even 2016 didn't get truly horrible until the 10th
You know what we haven't seen in a while? Somebody get a ton of records they didn't order. Can't for the life of me remember the last time something like that happened.

UPDATE 1/8/20
We have shipped the vast majority of orders from Nov and Dec (and earlier). There are some exceptions that include backordered items, orders that include pre-sale items, and a few other edge cases. We are actively resolving those issues on a case-by-case basis and communicating to affected customers directly. Our warehouse has begun and made significant progress in getting January orders shipped. We anticipate a much smoother process this month, and expect shipping timelines to return to normal again next month. We are implementing new features that will make the fulfillment process much more efficient in future months as well.
Our CS reply times are still not where we'd like them to be. Our team is working diligently to answer as many questions as quickly as possible. Some tickets require extensive research, which contributes to delayed reply times. We apologize for the continued delays here but expect things to return to normal in the next few weeks.
This would be nuts, especially since they’ve been known to multiply on their own.Imagine ordering 1 thing from VMP and getting 22 copies of Jon Tabakin.
