Chris here, long time lurker and occasional poster (usually hanging out in the cafe, depression support, cute animal or PIF threads.) I've met a handful of you but likely not most. I'm so glad to see the community continue here! Much love to all of you, and to those I haven't met, it's nice to meet you. ♥

I firmly believe Vinyl Me Please should now be filtered to Voldemort Me, Please. But I also absolutely understand if that appears salty or petty ( I resemble both of those words!)
 
Day 2 of N&G and I just want to say how amazing this is. I have walked around with a smile plastered to my face for the last few days.

We took a negative and made it into a positive. Not only that. But we made it into something better! Everyone seems so engaged and refreshed and ready for this to be a wonderful place.

We took lemons and made Lemonade. The best lemonade around. 🍋🍋 Bey would be proud!

Isn’t it strange how I(we?). Feel more inclined to visit here than I ever was (last year or so actually) at old place.

Sup everyone. Glad to see so many familiar faces. The forums were one on my favorite corners of the internet. Such an amazing collection of passionate people. I've mostly been a lurker since 2017 and will occasionally post in guess thread and grab threads.

You guys have expanded my musical tastes and interest so much the last 2 years, which range from Grunge to Jazz and everything in between. The community as added so much context and flavor to this hobby for me, I'm excited to see it live on. :)

Big thanks to the peeps that put in all the effort to make this happen! Also, yay the work firewall isn't blocking it anymore.

Dang, a guy blinks and already there are over 500 posts here! Anyway. I’m Heath, originally from the Catfish Capital of the World in southeast Louisiana, currently living in Houston, TX. On the way I also had stints in Arkansas and Brooklyn, and I spent a summer in South Africa once.

I’m a corporate and securities lawyer, which is the latest in a long list of careers, including house manager for a theater, retail management and fraud prevention for Apple, high school special ed teacher, and audio post production for film.

I buy lots of records. Other than that, I’m into photography and concerts and drinking every old fashioned in the city. Hieeeee!
 
Greetings all, previously a 3+ year lurker.. I took a lot away from that, and while my wife and my wallet curse you, I profusely thank you all...

I like a variety of sounds but the true musical loves of my life have been The Beatles, College Rock, Estrus Records, Man or Astro-man? (the band that rekindled my love of collecting and the 7” format) and in recent years an appreciation for Jazz.

A big thanks to all that made this new home possible and might I say, job incredibly well done! I look forward to getting engaged and interacting with you fine folk.
