Yep--this is a good move. And keep an eye on open box deals. I ended up buying an ultradeck, lintons and audiolab within the span of a few months because really good deals popped up and i had some money saved up. think i ended up saving over $1,000 off retail between the three.

I prefer piece by piece to see the specific difference, but I imagine switching to an entirely new setup could be mindmelting.

But then you don’t get to hear how different the Linton’s are to your Revel’s on the marantz. And then the difference between the marantz and the audiolab. That’s a big part of the fun lol.

I'd be updating from vintage bose and a kenwood all in one stereo/5.1 receiver. it'll be nice when it happens.

They seem to be selling well enough, not just on here you see them all over instagram too, and are new enough of a model that I can’t see them disappearing any time soon.

I don’t have records in them, they’re still well lush

It’s the simplicity and good solid well finished materials. I find them honest.

I think I’d like to get some kind of candle lantern/lamp to put in them.
