Fairport Convention “The History of..” 1972 1st press

So I’m becoming a bit Fairport obsessed ...and Sandy Denny..and Richard Thompson...

I’ll be restoring the sleeve later ..it should have a piece of blue ribbon and a sticker on the top right corner ..so a bit of photocopying and raid the wife’s sowing box laters and some glue ..all good ..like blue peter

I shall do a before and after picture ..if you care

Led Zeppelin “Presence”1976

A much under rated album imo ... buying on the cheap the older vinyl pressings (yet again) as not a fan of Jimmy’s last remasters ..vinyl is ok, the CDs are awful , fortunately I’ve never ditched any of the other previous CDs ..sadly that’s not the case with the vinyl!
I still can’t believe I traded in my Plum Atlantic Vol4 1st press .....stupid boy

...and there’s a Fairport connection ...told you I was obsessed

I recently got an old pressing of Led Zep IV. Had only listened to them on CD before, and the difference was amazing. Definitely going to get older pressings for the rest.
