An early RSD release from Jazz Re:freshed. Spaven's 5ive was actually one of the early releases in the series but on CD only. For RSD it has been released on a limited clear vinyl for the first time. Superb music!

Albert Ayler - Something Different !!!!!! (Bird Notes, 1986 Japanese Pressing)
I wish this copy I found was the first pressing (like winning the lottery) but its actually the Japanese reissue. Not that I am complaining though as it is a fantastic recording and a really out-there session, definitely not to be spun when my free-jazz hating girlfriend is in the same room!!

Beautiful. As you know much less bass on this album and it adapts beautifully, just sounds utterly perfect! I’m so impressed by this cartridge.
