I find this really hard to process, but we lost Stevie Ray Vaughan 30 years ago today. Thirty years. I remember the moment I heard about the copter crash like it was yesterday. Where does the time go...

To me, this song was the live set highlight from '85-'90. And the message still applies. SRV is incendiary on this one. When folks throw out SRV/Hendrix comparisons, I always think of the emotion coming from the strings on 'Life Without You '. This was Stevie's 'Bold As Love'.
