What's Spinning

My collection #863-864

George Harrison - All Things Must Pass
Orchestre Poly-Rythmo de Cotonou Benin

A first UK pressing of the best Beatles solo record bar none, and the surprisingly good final record of Poly-Rythmo from 1987 (although far from the last Poly-Rythmo album in my collection due to the quirks of my filing system - with them I file all their albums from Albarika Store, their main label, first and then it gets a bit more complicated...)

Alice Phoebe Lou and Band - Live at the Funkhaus

The vinyl is on its way to me so I'm not actually spinning this--listening to the download, but man, it's fantastic. Great songs, incredible voice, and a terrific band. Wow. I'd love to see her live. In the meantime, I think I'll be seeking out everything she's ever put out on vinyl. Oh, and did I mention her voice? ;) Several comparisons come to mind, but you'll think I'm overstating it, so listen for yourself!

Jeff "Death" Rosenstock "Thanks, Sorry!" (2019 Really Records, 3xLP yellow vinyl)

Tracking is saying I should have my copy of "No Dream" during the next few days since it finally arrived in Canada and cleared customs. Spinning this massive live album in anticipation.
