The Saw Doctors - If This Is Rock and Roll, I Want My Old Job Back
Alefa: Madagascar
One of my favourite albums, a great mix of Irish folk and a bit of punk attitude, featuring a great cover of the band's Dads. And v funky stuff from not exactly the best known music scene in Africa courtesy of Strut.
While RSD reissue of The Kink Kronikles is a decent compilation for someone to get into The Kinks, this one is better, IMO. And this one isn't auto-coupled.
A better overall selection of tracks...and mostly all in mono (only 2 tracks on side 4 are stereo, not all on side 4 as the rear sleeve states). It's usually found pretty cheap in the bins, too.
The Kinks – The File Series - The Kinks Pye Records/PRT – FILD 001, 1977
2LP compilation - mostly in Mono (2 tracks on side 4 are Stereo) - Lola is the cherry cola version
Not sure where to post so I will post here. Everyone needs to share in my joy. My signed Reba record came in today and it is so wonderful. Reba loves me!!
