I'm unfortunately not happy with my copy... 1A track 3 and 1B track 1 have right channel static bursts and distortion. LP2 sounds much better so far.

Mike James Kirkland - Doin' It Right
Such a great soul album! This is the recent repress of the reissue. Original copies are impossible to find and way too expensive. Same with his first album - the reissue for that one isn't very common either.

Yeah, I had some of this, too. Was going to give it an enzyme bath and see if it helped, but I’m not too optimistic now after seeing you post this. It’s wasnt quite non-fill, I heard exactly what you described.
