No photo, but I’m starting my jazz adventure with the first of my 10. Somethin’ Else.
Enjoying it so far, it’s definitely a good starting point. Can see how folk can get into it - every listen can bring out new stuff. Still a bit allergic to trumpet/sax high notes, and it’s definitely headphones music.

#8: Adem - Homesongs
One of those albums I just fell for. It's from the UK folk revival period. Adem played with Kieran Hebden in Fridge but his debut album was soft, beautiful acoustic music. I used to review live gigs and would get sent endless crap by record companies that I never wanted. This album was the exception. I'm not sure why I played the CD as I simply had to discard most of them, but I'm do glad I did.
