I'm not exactly the biggest classic country fan, but this is an album I've had a soft spot for probably about 15+ years after I heard Norah Jones cover Hands on the Wheel at a concert and went diving. A true country classic. Sadly, my copy is a bit beat up and has a couple pops on HotW, but it's good enough for now and is honestly in pretty decent shape overall. A low key playthrough of a legend's home run.
William Bell - Happy/Johnny I Love You (Stax, 1969 First 7" Pressing)
Eddie Floyd - Knock On Wood/Got To Make A Comeback (Atlantic, 1966 First 7" Pressing)
Nina Simone - Ain't Got No - I Got Life/Do What You Gotta Do (RCA Victor, 1968 First 7" Pressing)
Dug into a few recent 7" finds. Killer stuff, I'm going to have to dig out those VMP William Bell & Eddie Floyd Classic releases tomorrow.
still haven’t seen this movie because i refuse to add yet another streaming service on top of the 42 i already have but the soundtracks are always good, too, so this was a no brainer. cartoon saloon does no wrong. hoping we could get a song of the sea vinyl pressing one day.
