Joshua Abrams’ latest release. Can’t believe this was recorded right here in London at Cafe OTO and I missed it. Evan Parker is mesmerising on it, the whole band are outstanding. Trance jazz with Chicago house beats, it’s really worth a try.

Went down a bandcamp rabbit hole today and stumbled upon this gem. Easily one of the best things I have listened to in a long time.

What an incredible songwriting output. And folks forget what a bad ass bassist he was. Larry Graham seems to get credit for inventing slap bass but this clip is a bit contradictory.
