What's Spinning

George Lewis And His New Orleans Stompers - S/T (Blue Note, 1958 Signed Pressing)

Another jazz birthday. Im not overly into New Orleans/Dixieland but George Lewis was certainly pioneering. If anyone fancies deciphering the signatures that would be a huge help. I have worked out the obvious but some are still alluding me.

Never heard of this before but thats a beautiful cover and pressing!

It really is, even pressed at 45rpm which I don't see much for hip hop albums.

If you're a fan of hip hop at all i'd highly recommend checking them out! Easily one of my favorite producers in Kno does the beats while each album is beautifully crafted, intertwining a great combination of fun and very meaningful lyrics throughout.

Announced today, December, but maybe next year
Yep. He also said he has a few of the Splatter versions leftover that he's going to put up later this week. Hoping to grab one of those.

Jerry Riopelle - Take a Chance (1975, Santa Maria pressing)

Anyone ever listen to this guy or this album before? It was one of my dad's albums from the 70s that I'd never played before tonight. It's a lot better than I expected, but for a record that has been sitting in a box since 1989 this pressing is insanely good.
