Another jazz birthday. Im not overly into New Orleans/Dixieland but George Lewis was certainly pioneering. If anyone fancies deciphering the signatures that would be a huge help. I have worked out the obvious but some are still alluding me.

Finally found some time to sit down and listen to this album properly. Wow, what a great job they have done with this one. The tapes were never the greatest but it sounds fantastic to me and its such a great session as well.

It really is, even pressed at 45rpm which I don't see much for hip hop albums.
If you're a fan of hip hop at all i'd highly recommend checking them out! Easily one of my favorite producers in Kno does the beats while each album is beautifully crafted, intertwining a great combination of fun and very meaningful lyrics throughout.

Anyone ever listen to this guy or this album before? It was one of my dad's albums from the 70s that I'd never played before tonight. It's a lot better than I expected, but for a record that has been sitting in a box since 1989 this pressing is insanely good.
