‘87 with label variation edition. NM- vinyl. Cover in great shape. Missing printed inner sleeve although I am hoping it shows up. Got in this spring’s estate bulk buy goldmine. My 3rd copy (dif versions) but it is one of my fav albums so all good.
Lovely. Too experimental for family listening it transpires!, but I found it very soothing, nice amount of eastern influence. Will listen again soon when the kids aren’t around to air flute loudly.
This is Journey's newest studio album, and judging by comments from the band since, maybe their last. Unlike their prior arena rock albums, this is a guitar-oriented hard rock album, helmed by legendary guitarist Neal Schon. Vastly underrated in their discography.
This is Journey's first studio album since 1986 to be on vinyl, despite having 5 albums in the interim prior to this one. 2LP press (their only studio album to span 2LPs), limited to 1000 copies.
Hot damn , this album cooks. Excited to see them this fall in SF! Though I'm getting tons of noise/clicks on the last two songs on side A. Anyone else cc @Plaid Room / Colemine ??
I haven't come across a Tone Poet release yet that I haven't enjoyed, this one included. I'm just starting to buy them all blind knowing they are all fantastic releases!
