I don’t know what Bob is thinking, but there really is no reason for Wild Mood Swings & Bloodflowers to have been released this way. With the exception of the wooooshing noise between the tracks, they sound really really good. I don’t have an original press of Bloodflowers, but I do of this and it’s quite close.

Didn’t expect to see BTBAM Colors II yet but play em if u got em. Die cut cover. I have another pressing version coming eventually but this one looks great. Side 1 sounds massive. Well recorded, pressed, and mixed. Benefits from an extra notch or two on the ol’ volume button. Flipping it over. Going for a full play thru.

I mean…two all time classics and a rock solid album in between. The rock solid album still won a Grammy for Album of the Year. This Stevie run is one of the things I love about physical media, I don’t think I would’ve taken the time to dive like this in streaming. What a treat. Songs in the Key really popped for me this time.

Ill save the comp for tomorrow, that will be a great Saturday morning play. Then we are on to Steely Dan and my gf sending me to sleep on the couch.
