This is a bit of an oddity as the image is flipped on the cover for some reason. I have the DeAgostini pressing which might actually sound a tad better, to be honest. Still, it's a great session and an OG is wayyyy out of range.

The Jazz Couriers With Ronnie Scott And Tubby Hayes - In Concert (Tempo, 1958 First Mono Pressing)
Continuing on with my British Jazz deep dive I have come to the first of the Jazz Couriers albums. During this performance, the Couriers were actually touring as a support act for The Dave Brubeck Quartet. Most of the time the support act would get lightly heckled, with audience members hoping to get the main act on early. In this case the crowd cheered for the Couriers to stay on and afterwards Brubeck said 'They sound more like an American group than most American groups do!'. Here's also an extract from the tour brochure.
