I heard more Petty in LeBlanc. In fact, I commented to my wife about it before I even read the hype sticker.

Agree that LeBlanc is a better album overall. Both are pretty great though.

No complaints. Have only spun it once so far but in terms of quality I think this is a pretty solid press.

I’d only gotten a quarter of the way through the Nelson when I made that statement, it’s kind of front loaded with Petty stuff. Right now it’s straight up disco. I’m not sure how I feel about this. It being categorized as country and having been familiar with the band with Neil Young, this is not what I was expecting. The second listen will be more telling.
