Murs song came up on shuffle this morning, made me realize I haven't spun these in a while. I also picked up Fornever before the holidays, and it's somewhere in my to-clean stack. I've never heard that album before, but I love all the other Murs/9th collabs.

Air Supply is part of my in-laws record collection. Not my thing at all, but feels like a decent example of its type. Off to the side storage it goes. Alcest is great though, and I picked this up from a gig a few years ago.

Recorded December 14 1986, this album is stellar, both in performance and sound quality.
Elton John is in one of the best shows I’ve ever seen. I consider myself very fortunate. I had 3rd row seats. That was an interesting week-I worked a full schedule, saw 3 concerts (all out of town- Elton John, Eric Clapton and Jethro Tull) closed on my first house and moved. That pace would kill me now. Oh to be 28 again…

The first 7 Moody Blues albums were killer. When vinyl was almost dead in the ‘90s, MoFi switched to 200 gram pressings which I always thought were the worst of the lot. I think I was wrong, This sounds amazing.

The last one was so good, I figured I’d try another. Maybe one’s system has to be “just so” to appreciate these mid ‘90s MoFis. I don’t know, but this sounds great too. It never really did before.
