I’ve told this story in the JQBX but I don’t think in the forum at large.

Back in the early 2000s when I’d be down the old indie disco this used to be on all the time, long before we knew the name of the band or song. I had a mate who was convinced the lyrics were “bag of jizz” not bandages, even after we found the song and sent a copy to him.

That guy was a fucking loon!

Hanne Kolstø - Stillness and Panic

Even with loving Radiohead I forget sometimes how much I dig this album. Unfortunately Hanne Kolstø is the other way - one of the few Norwegian albums I own, and I fear her three I own are all going to the second hand shop (happily only a few have done so from this playthrough).
