Esquire is an interesting label as they issued US records under licence using the exact same master metalwork, right down to the catalogue number and RVG stamp. Weirdly they tend to go for more money, in some cases, than the original US pressing despite the only difference really being the artwork. I have heard some people state that the vinyl formula they used was more "pure", but I'm not really too sure how much of a difference that makes in this case.Never seen that cover before, interesting!
Oooo I've been looking for some Rosco Gordon in the wild for years. Where is this one from?If this isn’t already in their lives, I’m fairly certain @Yer Ol' Uncle D and @HiFi Guy would enjoy this.

Rosco Gordon - No Dark in America
First vinyl edition as Magnolia’s discovery pick for December. Originally released on CD in 2004. Two dudes started field recording him in the 90s and became friends with him till he passed. It’s a mix of overdubs of those field recordings and some sessions they did in Nashville. No Dark in America, the title song, is the last song he ever finished and also his reaction to 9/11. Doesn’t appear to currently be on sale at Dualtone or MRC.Oooo I've been looking for some Rosco Gordon in the wild for years. Where is this one from?
