Avery M Young - Tubman
Atakora Many - Afro Highlife
This might be my favourite soul record of recent years - it's incredibly good, but can't believe how under the radar it flew. And more sweet highlife from Ghana.
Norah Jones – Come Away With Me (Blue Note, 2012 Analogue Productions Pressing)
Inspired by @JohnnyCashFan (he played her "Live From Ronnie Scotts" album earlier) and made possible by @Skalap (he PIF'ed me this on my birthday a couple of years ago, cheers again buddy!)
Donald Byrd - Street Lady
OG stereo. It's completely crazy that this hasn't had a good quality reissue in any of the Blue Note campaigns so far, but it's got to be coming down the line. Easy to find VG+ for $40 and less on discogs though.
1970 US Indianapolis pressing. The 1st Jefferson Starship album b4 there was an official JS band. A concept album telling the story of “…A bunch of left-wing hippies closely resembling his (Paul Kantner) San Francisco Bay Area compatriots hijack a government-built starship and head off to re-start the human race on another planet.” TiVo
