Sounds great! I don't have another pressing to compare it to and my setup is very modest but I'm very happy with it.
Just a few minutes into the bonus stuff now, and it's pretty great. Certainly not as essential as the album itself but definitely sweet supplementary material for an anniversary edition. These guys are just so aces!

I had no idea what to expect from the etching on side D but it looks pretty cool:

The Beatles - Please Please Me (1982 Japanese mono reissue, red vinyl)



In my quest to own every Beatles album in Mono I've found the early 80's Japanese pressings on red vinyl sound fantastic, and are actually cheaper than the 2014 Mono reissues which have gotten crazy stupid price wise. Highly recommend if you come across any at a decent price.
