What's Spinning

The Coral

They’ve absolutely nailed this 20th anniversary press. This sounds a lot richer and warmer than I’ve ever heard it and it digs deep. This remains one of the absolute best albums of the millennium for me, I absolutely love it, it being 20 years old makes me feel really fucking old though!

The Durutti Column - The Return Of The Durutti Column

Vini Reilly is a really underrated electric guitar pioneer and Tony Wilson was right, this is great music to chill with. This album and LC are well worth a check out if it piques an interest.

I always loved this as a debut album title and this is the infamous sandpaper album, based on an idea cribbed from the situationists. For the reissue Factory Benelux attached a sheet of sandpaper to the inner sleeve that peeks through a cut out of the famous factory logo. For this one it was for some reason released with black sandpaper.
