Despite my copy having a medium sized warp on side one of the main album, and some pretty decent popping after one clean I think the album sounds pretty good. I know a lot has been made of the mastering but to my ears it sounds ok, not great but I've definitely heard worse. Going to give it another clean to work on the popping but overall I'm glad to finally have a copy of this classic album.

I really wish you had said this was crap because I'm having regrets...
PBC had it listed for $70 and It’s worth every penny just for the LP alone. The extras are a bit hit and miss. I doubt I will listen to many of demos again but I will certainly give the B-Sides and the Live set show repeated spins. The packaging is excellent too. It’s a quality set all around.

Michael Garrick Quartet - Silhouette (Gearbox Records, 2010 Limited First Mono Pressing)

An interesting release but not the best sounding, unfortunately. Everything seems set back like the mic's were at the back of the room. Still, for a 64-year-old recording Gearbox has done ok. The artwork always catches my attention.
