I have been working through this behemoth 6lp box set for the past couple of days and just finished in. Stunning music, really swinging playing from Hodges.

Continuing the mono theme and heading all the way back to 1955 with this one. Les Paul was not only a guitar virtuoso, but he changed the world with his inventions- the solid body electric guitar and multitrack recording. His wife Mary Ford had the voice of an angel.
