From the newer ain't necessarily better in any way category...
New 180G reissue/remaster.
Dead quiet which makes it much easier to hear how muted, flat and lifeless they've managed to make this incredible recording.
Put on my 41 year old copy I bought in college and it smokes this new one. It's going back.

This is the first one where the panning isn’t always quite so hard and I’ll be honest, other than the few rockers that are that bit more primitive, it’s the first where I prefer the MoFi, it just sounds so alive. Helps that almost every track on this is exceptional, For No One and it’s beautiful sad lone French horn is always a stand out for me.
