This album (and band) is fucking bad ass! All instrumental. For fans of.. Dream Theater, Primus.. virtuoso trio playing some fucking bad ass riffs. Experimental fusion/progressive rock.
Actually - don't listen to this, because you'll want it on vinyl and realize there were only 500 pressed like me. Then, you'll message 100 people on Discogs until someone sells you theirs!
TRIOSCAPES cites MAHAVISHNU ORCHESTRA, KING CRIMSON, RETURN TO FOREVER, and FRANK ZAPPA as their influences, elements of which bands are apparent in their sound, albeit in a more heavy fusion fashion. The band is likely to appeal to both fans of jazz/fusion but also prog-metal/heavy fusion.

I'd love some other instrumental albums that are in this same genre if anyone has any good recommendations. I didn't appreciate this album when I was younger, but it's a favorite now and I realized that I don't know of many others like it.
