I'd love some other instrumental albums that are in this same genre if anyone has any good recommendations. I didn't appreciate this album when I was younger, but it's a favorite now and I realized that I don't know of many others like it.

Try the first 2 Funk Inc albums (S/T and Chicken Lickin’).

They’ve held up pretty well. Doesn’t hurt that they had some of the best producers throwing beats at them at the time.

Yup, that first run of G-unit albums were so good. Except maybe Tony Yayo's. Mobb Deeps 'Bloodmoney' I'd like to find too.

I second The Funk Inc. recommendation, I would also suggest The J.B.’s and The Pharoahs as well.
