I ordered a handful of records in 2021 that have since shipped and arrived in 2022. I FINALLY got the remaining one today: *Shels 2011 post-rock masterpiece (IMO), Plains Of The Purple Buffalo (double LP). Hopefully I'll be able to spin it later! 🤞

This album is an all timer for it. One of the most personal albums in my life due to the space I was in when I binged it for the first time. Some of River’s best work is on here!
Very much agree. This was also very near and dear to me at one point in my life. You can really feel him working through his isolation and sadness in him with a lot of these songs, and is a nice companion to Pinkerton in its themes. I can see how it hit you probably when you were going through recovery that you've talked about in here.
