My stylus upgrade arrived last night and I swapped it out this morning without too much trouble. Went from the Ortofon OM 10 to the Ortofon Super OM 20. Wasn't sure how noticeable a difference it would be since my speakers are the current bottleneck in my system, but it's a significantly noticeable upgrade. Starting with a golden voice to get it going.

Krokus - Dirty Dynamite 
This is a surprisingly fun rock and roll album. I hadn't listened to any of the stuff Krokus put out after the 80s but decided to take a flyer on this for $8 from the DD/Walmart sale since it's a MOV pressing. It sounds like a missing classic from the 80s hard rock era. It would have held it's own against the big names in the genre during their heyday. And if you can still appreciate that style of music then you'll be impressed by this one and should grab a copy while it's still cheap.

I've loved this album since it came out. I always thought Mick Hucknall was a little cringe, but whatever, the man can sing and write hella catchy pop songs. I think I'm at a point in my life now when I'd really enjoy seeing them live if I ever get the chance, but my wife does not get my love of Simply Red
