What's Spinning

Did anyone else pick this up on RSD? If so, is it noisy? I’ve cleaned it once but man is there a lot of crackle which is a bummer because this is definitely an album that calls for a quiet sound canvas.

Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds - Wait & Return EP

My local had a few of these left yesterday for $12. I bought it for 2 reasons. The color is damn pretty, and I'm seeing the High Flying Birds in August (though I'm only really going for AFI and The Smashing Pumpkins). Not a bad EP though. Short and sweet.

Me niether...when the Discogs RNG picked it I thought that's a good pick - I don't think I've played it since it came out.

EDIT:

Yep....May 6, 2015 was the first and last spin I gave it. Looking at my posts on the Hoffman forums, it looks like I had to go to eBay for this one.

damn that really came out in 2015? i'm old. time is weird. the store i bought mine at isn't even open anymore 😑

Evanescence - Fallen

This album fueled me in 7th/8th grade. Hearing several songs from this album live the other night warmed my soul. I'm really glad that Target just released this new limited edition silver press. I wasn't a collector when the band put out the limited edition purple press several years back. Sound quality is fairly flat (like all Evanescence presses on the market currently), but perfectly listenable. What I'd pay for an audiophile press of this album...

Usually a cheap way to get pretty good sounding copies of these albums. I found my 1st copy at a Goodwill.

My second copy was from my local store, but has some water damage on the cover, so it was only 6 bucks. Records are about as mint as they can be.

Both are the 1975 reissues.
