Hitting a nice spot in my playthough. My dad was talking to a guy at a yard sale who had Grateful Dead barstools for sale. He asked him about records knowing that I had a collection, and the guy had ~75 records or so in his basement he sold to my dad for around $100. Because covid hit, I couldn't go out there and pick them up, so he shipped them all from Cape Cod to San Diego for me right at the outset of the pandemic. We lost him not too long after that to a quick cancer diagnosis, so playing these next set of records will bring back some good memories of chatting w/ him about them once they arrived - especially the Dead adjacent ones.
