I should be running around getting things done today but I'd rather be listening to records! I love this record, was on the hunt for a copy as it seemed to go in and out of print, finally got it at a reasonable price and of course the next day the expanded version goes up for pre-order... Just my luck I guess... anyways that's a problem for future me!

Took the kids to a 3-year-old friend's birthday party this last weekend and spent most of our time there talking music with her Dad. When we got to the topic of free jazz and cacophony, he excitedly scurried over to his shelf and pulled this off to see if I'd heard of it. I hadn't, but hilariously knew I had a package arriving yesterday featuring 2 albums that each featured one of the four players here (Darius Jones and Anteloper, which features Jason Nazary!) He lent this to me and I've just been waiting for some home alone time to spin it without annoying my wife! 🤣
