mark robinson (unrest, air miami) minimalist power trio that ran just a little too far ahead of the post-punk revival to get their due. the rhythm section is just ridiculously locked in, with drumming you'd swear was programmed if it didn't have such punch.
this LP is also one of the most perverse objects in my collection--every song ends in a locked groove, requiring the listener to manually advance the needle four times per side. it would be a terrible PITA if this music didn't already make me want to get up and throw my body around
