t was a joy and a thrill to be sitting at the console hearing this music for the first time, especially with my fingers on the faders and knobs of the mixing desk. We watched the oxide fly off the 2" tapes during playback, making this our one chance to digitize before they metamorphosed into dust. Welcome to the new Sun Ra album….35+ years after it was recorded. The Omniverse has expanded once again.

Incredible album. Incredible pressing. I feel kind of bad about getting this one though. It's a small label and it was a password only sale for the pressing that the head of the label hooked me up to order it. I ordered it so long ago that when the exchange rate was really in my favor and it cost nearly what I paid to ship this to me from Australia this past week. I never got a shipping notice so it was a very pleasant surprise last night. And it smokes in every possible way.
