Collective Soul - Vibrating

Ed and Dean can still make a hell of a great album. And I'm happy they've been putting stuff on wax that are such great pressings. Need them to keep up with the annual reissue campaign.

One of the first times I saw them live it was the University of Colorado campus and since it wasn't a huge crowd they let us all rush the floor. Ed got so into it that they ended up playing for 4.5 hours straight. Only other band that I've seen pull a marathon set like that was Disco Biscuits who played for about 6 hours for a birthday show in Boulder one year. So many great memories of shows back then. Don't feel like venues let bands get away with that sort of spontaneous thing anymore.

Disco Biscuits
Blast from the past, when I lived back in Peoria, There was a jam band based music fest, called Summer Camp just up the river in Chillicothe. It was pretty good time (at least the parts I could remember) I saw Disco Biscuits there in like 2004 or 2005 and they were amazing it was like half rave, Jam Band vibe. I think I even had one of their CDs. Pretty fun stuff.

Very apt description of their shows. I've never seen so many things snorted up so many noses as I did at their show.
