Somehow their name was lodged somewhere in the recesses of my brain and when I saw this in a shop I grabbed it. What’s not to like?! Trippy in the most pleasant of ways.

Their follow up, Once We Were Trees, is my favorite, I love their cover of “By My Side” but all three of their albums are quite good.

What a great band. Was a fan from the get-go. Saw them in a small club in the 90's. They invited everyone back to the green room for a beer. Most folks went home. I complied. Repeatedly. Rich and Dave were so cool and gave me their contact info to send them a copy of my tape.
When I think of the ultimate goal of music (my definition anyway) - building that indestructible bridge between artist and listener - I always think of this show. That intimate relationship is harder and harder to come by these days. That's why your small to medium capacity local clubs are so incredibly vital. Support those folks...

yea i'm a BIG fan of Cicely Balston. I might try to get this one in swaps then.....but I'm also a huge KG fan haha. so strange BN let VMP cut this and do a totally different cut but I assume it's been in the works for a long time at VMP.

I love this "album" so much. Especially "Life Ain't So Shitty" and "Letters From a Porcupine." I regret not grabbing the copy my local had for so long.

I'm looking forward to a comparison on these. As a non-VMP member and KPG fan I'm sure I'll get the BN Classics version, but I'm still excited for a thorough comparison!

i think its pretty low stock at VMP so i may end up swapping for it. i have an OG pressing and it's ALRIGHT, but always hard to tell if it's the sample quality or the pressing with stuff like this.
